The Highway Hideout

Every good hideout has a story. Ours starts with Jeni and Ray Lundgren — a couple with deep Wisconsin roots, a strong work ethic, and a soft spot for family, community, and a good time.

Ray was raised on a farm just north of Amery, where he learned that you don't get much handed to you — you roll up your sleeves, put in the work, and take care of your people. Jeni hails from Wanderoos and has been right there beside Ray through the years, helping run their other ventures, including RC Seamless Gutters.

Somewhere along the way, they decided it was time to add another operation to the books.

Enter The Highway Hideout.

And while Ray and Jeni may be the bosses around here, the real heart of the outfit is their three children — Bailee, Kemper, and Basil. Family has always been at the center of their lives, and they've brought that same spirit through the front door of The Highway Hideout.

Around here, we believe a good joint is about more than what's on the menu. It's about knowing your neighbors, catching up with old friends, making some new ones, sharing a few laughs, and maybe telling a story or two that gets a little better every time it's told.

Whether you're rolling through town for a bite, pulling up a chair with your buddies, or looking for a place to kick back and stay awhile, you're welcome at our table.
